BATCA is a network of individuals and organisations who are committed to creating a harmonious, thriving community based on trust and friendship between people of all faiths, cultures, ages and backgrounds. It has a wide range of partner bodies and seeks to enable them to work together. It holds events and meetings open to all several times a year in Tooting.

BATCA AGM 2017

BATCA’s AGM on 7th March 2017 was an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of 2016, especially the annual multifaith Peace Ceremony in September and the Community Heroes celebration in November. Further highlights were the launch of BATCA’s website and BATCA’s 10th birthday celebrations. New officers were elected as shown below. Warm thanks were expressed to the retiring chair, Fred Ahmed, founder of BATCA. Plans were made for a full programme for 2017. See the chairman’s report and AGM minutes.

Community Fun Day

The Community Fun Day is back on 15th July! This ever popular event, held in Broadwater Road, Tooting Broadway, SW17 0EU, brings the whole community together in a day of fun for all. There’ll be rides, inflatables, multicultural food, stalls, children's activities and more. Community groups will be able to promote their work.
