The Salvation Army together with the Met Police, Neighbourhood Watch Teams, and Wandsworth Council is holding an event to promote a safe holiday season on 7th December from 10.30-12.30am at the Salvation Army, 38 Balham High Road, SW12 9AH .
The event ‘Stay Safe this Holiday’ has been organised to meet concern arising from an increase in crime in Balham since September- especially house burglary, auto theft and contents in cars and moped crime affecting local residents. There has been also been an increase in commercial burglaries as well.
The guest speaker will be Roger Lyddon, the Wandsworth Council Community Safety Officer, who will be explaining how to keep yourself and your property safe this Christmas.
