CCG seeks representative for frail people on clinical leadership group Wandsworth Clinical Commissioning Group, which commissions healthcare services for Wandsworth, is looking for people to bring the views and experience of frail people (primarily older people with complex health conditions) to future planning for services for them.
In particular they are looking for someone to join the London Frailty Clinical Leadership Group – see below. Expressions of interest are sought by 5th April. The CCG write: “Dear Colleagues, The London Frailty Clinical network is recruiting to patient and public representatives to be on their Clinical Leadership Group. Service user and Public representative on the London Frailty Clinical Leadership Group (CLG) The London Frailty Clinical Network are looking for two service user/public representatives to be part of their Clinical Leadership Group. The London Frailty Clinical Leadership Group provides a forum for a multidisciplinary group of experts and key stakeholders to share their expertise and experience in order to improve the quality of services across London in an impartial and bi-partisan manner. The CLG will function as the clinical expert arm of the Frailty Clinical Network and exist to provide collective knowledge and strategic leadership on behalf of the clinical network community. The role of the service user/public representative will involve ensuring the voice of patients and the public are represented on the Frailty CLG. You would be required to attend quarterly CLG meetings and participate in the wider project work of the clinical network.
