THRALE CHARITY INVITES GRANT APPLICATIONS FROM GROUPS
IN BALHAM AND TOOTING
The Thrale Charity is inviting applications for grants from local organisations which are helping vulnerable people. Grants awarded will generally range from £500 up to £4000. In total, £40,000 will be available to groups from Balham,Tooting, and other parts of South London. Last year five groups in Balham and Tooting were supported.
The Charity’s vision is:
“We have a vision of local communities that are resilient and sustainable; creating good places in which to live and grow older”.
Previous grants given have covered fitness for older adults; projects in community gardens; food bank and baby equipment bank; youth work, girls football and youth training; groups and outings for older people; mental health training for workers and volunteers; drop in centres for refugees and much more.
