Linking the community in Furzedown
Furzedown is well known for its community spirit. It’s building on its long established networks to provide support for those who need it during the crisis. This involves:

The Network’s email chat group of 800 people provides information and updates about local shops and services, and signposts to other services.
Many streets have set these up to help provide information and support to people living on that street, particularly those who are self isolating, or in particular need.Find out about these via Furzedown Community Network

The Furzedown Community Network
The Furzedown Community Network has been a community hub for almost 20 years. As well as the email chat group, it organises the annual summer Furzedown Festival, quiz nights and other initiatives. The chat group creates connections, gives space for personal stories and boosts morale.
