chit-chat is a new non-profit organisation with a mission to ‘connect the nation through conversation’ to combat loneliness and isolation. It’s a volunteer run phone based service at 0333 002 0333. Though a national initiative, it has strong roots in Balham and Tooting, where several of the key players live.
