Covid 19 response: Home-Start helps vulnerable families

                                                   Covid 19
 Home-Start Wandsworth helps vulnerable families

Melissa Pike of Home-Start Wandsworth explains how the charity is responding to Covid 19 and asks for your support.

Covid 19 is having a devastating impact on vulnerable families

Home-Start Wandsworth remains as committed as ever to supporting families during these difficult times.

This short film highlights the devastating impact that Covid-19 is having on families, especially those already suffering with poor mental health, physical illness and financial hardship.

The film features families talking about how Home-Start have been supporting them during the pandemic and Laura, Home-Start Wandsworth’s Scheme Manager explains what challenges lie ahead.

As we emerge from the current crisis and start to navigate the new normal, Home-Start’s tailored, responsive support remains essential. More and more local families are starting to struggle, especially with their mental health and finances and Home-Start are fully expecting to see a sharp rise in the number of referrals in the coming weeks and months. It will be an uphill struggle to continue to meet demand as the full effects of the pandemic are realised.

They need your help. If you would like to help them support more local families in the borough, please donate to their Coronavirus Fund at https://tinyurl.com/ycpa934y

Thank you.
