After many years of success as a co-working enterprise hub and home to over 80 diverse businesses and organisations, Trident Business Centre is rebranding as Tooting Works! With the new brand comes a promise to be a hub for the whole Tooting community, supporting local people, businesses and helping organisations to thrive.
Tooting Works!’ Community Projects
Tooting Works!’ Community Projects form a wider community outreach programme to support local residents, especially the vulnerable, and community groups. The initial project supports local residents who have been negatively impacted by the effects of COVID-19. and includes the provision of cooked meals, care packages, and donations to vulnerable residents and NHS key workers. But this is only the start.
Business Launchpad youth charity
Tooting Works operates as a social enterprise, with all profits funding the youth charity Business Launchpad.It is dedicated to helping London’s youth build enterprise skills, overcome barriers and become leaders to set up their own business. It offers two years of free business support with dedicated business coaches, workshops, one to one sessions, tailored business programmes and business mentoring. It helps Londoners from the age of 16 to 30 to start and grow their very own business.
