Fishponds Playing Fields open to all
8am-4pm every day during lockdown

It’s great news that Wandsworth Council has announced the reopening of Fishponds Playing Fields to the public during lockdown. https://www.wandsworth.gov.uk/news/news-january-2021/local-residents-can-use-fishponds-playing-fields-to-exercise/
This will give local residents badly needed access to open space, and bring big benefits to health and well being. Access is needed in lockdown more than ever, when other opportunities for exercise and socialising are so few.
We thank the Council for their response to the calls from local residents and from groups who are keen to see the Fields contributing fully to a flourishing community.
The Fields will be open from 8am to 4pm every day. The Council have made clear that daily opening is limited to the period of lockdown, after which the normal pattern of opening will resume.
