The Scrapstore, our local treasure trove of rescued and recycled art, craft and design materials is open again! You’re invited to come and see the new material filling its shelves.
OPENING TIMES
Tuesdays 11am-8pm; Thursdays 11am-5pm.
HOW TO VISIT
No booking is necessary but you need to be a member.
The Scrapstore welcomes new members, who include both organisations such schools and individuals. To help identify new members, you may be asked to produce photo ID at reception.
The membership fee helps the Scrapstore continue its work of providing art, craft, design and play materials for schools, students, artists, community organisations, home educators and families. A Scrapstore membership also means that you’re helping the planet, as they divert over 60 tonnes of waste from landfill and incineration each year.
YOUR SAFETY
The Scrapstore is Covid safe and precautions are in place. You’re asked to keep to the one-way system, observe 2m social distancing, wear a facemask and sanitise your hands. Only four members are allowed in at any one time so there may be a short wait before you can go in and browse.
