Talk from CAB on advice on soaring living costs
There will be a warm welcome for all at BATCA’s AGM on Tuesday 8th March, and refreshments.

It’s a two part event with the formal AGM business followed by a speaker from Citizens’ Advice Wandsworth on sources of advice on coping with the soaring cost of living, which is crippling for many.

The AGM will be short, but will give the opportunity to look at what BATCA’s achieved in 2021, its plans for this year, and to elect new officers. If you would like to nominate someone, please complete and send the form below by 6th March to secretary@batca.org  If you’d simply like to get more involved with BATCA, you’re very welcome too.

We’ll have a short spot for updates from local groups. If you would like to be included in this, please let us know in advance – first come, first served.

Presentation from Citizens’ Advice Wandsworth: the soaring cost of living

We all blench at the prospect of big increases in energy and other prices, but for many who already struggle they will be devastating. Citizens’ Advice Wandsworth will give a talk to help us understand the sources of advice and support available, with a view to enabling more people to signpost those in need to these services. Citizens Advice works in partnership with the Wandsworth Community Empowerment Network.

This will be an informal, interactive session, so please come with your questions.

We’re very grateful to Tooting United Reformed Church for their hospitality.
